Voigtländer Nokton 40mm F1.4 SC VM
Fast lens in a compact design with a length of only 29.7 mm; particularly recommended for Bessa R 3A / R 3M.
The wish fulfillment of many enthusiastic photographers: our lenses with the VM bayonet can be used not only on Voigtländer rangefinder cameras and Leica cameras, but also on many state-of-the-art digital cameras using adapters.
The range extends from 12 mm to 75 mm focal length in 35mm format or for full-format digital cameras. The focal length changes depending on the recording sensor, for example by around 1.5x with an APS C sensor.
We offer a comprehensive range of lenses, from extreme wide angle to portrait focal length. The wishes of passionate photographers always play an important role in product development at Voigtländer - so we offer different lenses with identical focal lengths. For example, the 35mm Nokton as a super bright 1.2 or as a bright 1.4 (which is significantly lighter and shorter) - right up to the real all-rounder for many occasions, the Color-Skopar 2.5.
This clearly shows Voigtländer's philosophy of giving photographers all the freedom and possibilities to achieve their desired results by providing them with the optimal tool.
The fast universal lens with excellent imaging performance in a classic design.
Thanks to the elaborately crafted aperture with 10 blades, in combination with the high light intensity, an optically harmonious bokeh is achieved.
The Nokton is therefore also ideal for portrait photographers and remains compact (total length 29.7 mm) and light (175 grams).
