The iconic design of the D-Lux 8 is synonymous with the legendary Leica brand.
For even greater user comfort, the controls have been reduced and arranged more ergonomically, and the user interface, derived from the popular Leica Q cameras, has been structured to be even clearer and more functional.
Thanks to a 4/3” CMOS sensor with 21 MP (effective 17 MP), a fast Leica DC Vario-Summilux 1:1.7-2.8/10.9-34 ASPH. lens (equivalent to 24–75 mm in 35mm format), an intuitive design and seamless connectivity with the Leica FOTOS app, the Leica D-Lux 8 is a compact camera for universal use.
It is also the first D-Lux to feature the versatile DNG format.
The included flash expands the camera's diverse capabilities.
A new collection of accessories tailored to the camera is available together with the Leica D-Lux 8. These include a handgrip, carrying strap and wrist straps and leather protectors in various colors. Other matching accessories such as an auto lens cap and soft release buttons as well as a bum bag, a shoulder bag and an accessory bag expand the portfolio of the new D-Lux 8.
