The Leica Summilux-M 1.4/28 mm ASPH. is the first Leica lens to combine such a high aperture and focal length. It complements the family of fast, high-performance lenses. Technical data

The lens consists of ten lenses in seven groups. It also has an aspherical lens surface that deviates from the spherical shape, which guarantees high image quality with a close-up limit of 0.7m. The lens ensures excellent color correction with its three cemented elements and seven lens elements with abnormal partial dispersion. Across the entire focal length range, the lens achieves excellent imaging performance with high contrast, both at infinity and at close range.
