The new focal length classic impresses with its high imaging performance and unique bokeh. Despite high light intensity and exceptional image quality, its dimensions are astonishingly small. In combination with a Leica M, this creates an extremely compact and elegant unit. The Summicron is equipped with a screw-on, rectangular metal lens hood. For use without a lens hood, it offers a metal thread protection ring.
Technical Details
The new Summicron-M 1:2/35 mm ASPH. has eleven blades that create a circular aperture image. This means that the blurred areas of the subject are reproduced particularly harmoniously. This newly developed lens produces razor-sharp, high-contrast images with almost perfect freedom from distortion - across the entire setting range, even with the aperture open.
