The new high-performance, high-speed M lens features improved technical properties that make the Summicron-M 1:2/28 ASPH. ideal for the latest sensor technology and therefore for current and future camera generations. The combination of the wide angle with the extended close-up limit from 70 to 40 centimeters opens up additional photographic possibilities. Focusing up to 70 centimeters continues to be done via the rangefinder of all digital or analog M cameras. The extended close-up range between 70 and 40 centimeters can be precisely focused after a subtle resistance using Live View on the screen, Visoflex 2 add-on viewfinder or with the Leica FOTOS app.
With the compactness that is typical of M lenses, the new Summicron-M 1:2/28 ASPH. is also characterized by its handiness. The lens hood, which is integrated directly into the lens in a modern, round design, is particularly convenient. This can now be screwed in or out at any time with just one movement.
Inside the lens, 9 lenses in 6 groups ensure extremely high-contrast and detailed images. The focus ring can be adjusted in a remarkably quiet and smooth manner. Verbesserte Naheinstellgrenze
Das Weitwinkelobjektiv eröffnet in Kombination mit seiner Naheinstellgrenze von 40 Zentimetern faszinierende fotografische Möglichkeiten. Dafür sorgt ein speziell von Leica Ingenieuren entwickeltes Doppelkurvengetriebe, das im Vergleich zum Vorgängermodell den Drehbereich des Entfernungsrings stark vergrößert. Und damit gleichzeitig die Nähe zum Motiv verringert. Mit dem Fokusring kann die kompakte Festbrennweite über den gesamten Einstellbereich besonders leise, weich und komfortabel scharfgestellt werden. Wie gewohnt geschieht dies bis zu 70 Zentimeter über den Messsucher der M-Kamera. Von 70 bis 40 Zentimeter wird per Live-View am Bildschirm, Visoflex 2 oder Leica FOTOS App fokussiert.
