The compact, fast, short telephoto lens is known for its excellent imaging performance at maximum aperture and over the entire setting range from infinity to the closest focusing distance. The light intensity of this powerful Summicron lens allows the smallest details to be highlighted in razor-sharp detail against a blurred background. Nevertheless, it offers a natural Angle of view that cannot be achieved with 90mm telephoto lenses.

This compact Summicron lens uses all of today's technical possibilities to achieve high light intensity and exceptional imaging performance. It contains aspherical surfaces, special glasses with anomalous partial dispersion and floating elements. This makes it an ideal lens for a close look at scenes, nature, landscapes and people from infinity to the lens's closest focusing distance.
