Focuses on the world between 45 cm to infinity
The Summilux-M 1:1.4/50 ASPH., with its close-up limit of 45 centimeters, enables particularly close-up shots. This is made possible by a double cam gear specially developed by our engineers, which greatly increases the rotation range of the distance ring compared to the previous model. This makes focusing extremely comfortable and convenient across the entire setting range and, above all, in the extended close-up range. Up to 70 centimeters, focus is achieved as usual via the rangefinder. After that, focus must be achieved in the extended close-up range of 70 to 45 centimeters using Live View on the screen, Visoflex or the Leica FOTOS app.
